Opening Reception for the
25th Annual Skylands
Juried Art Show
Saturday, April 28th from 4 pm - 7 pm
The Sussex County Arts and Heritage Council’s annual Skylands exhibit has become a benchmark for quality art shows in the New Jersey highlands. Any artist 18 years of age or older may submit entries, and all media are accepted. Prizes totaling over $2,000 are presented will be presented. This year Marilyn Stevenson, a veteran curator, gallery director, accomplished art exhibition juror, and professional photographer, will judge the entries.
The gala opening reception, with champagne, catering by Perona Farms and entertainment by harpist Cecilia Parker Chartoss, is held Saturday, April 28 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend. Tickets are $20 if purchased in advance, $25 at the door. Awards will be presented at 6:30 p.m.
The show continues through June 2, and can be viewed during normal business hours. More information is available on the Council’s website www.scahc.org or by calling 973-383-0027.
